Sound familiar?

Old, slow and embarrassing

Your site loads slowly on phones, looks dated next to competitors and makes you hesitate before sending people to it.

Scared of losing what ranks

A few pages bring in calls today, and you've heard redesigns can wipe out years of Google rankings.

Built for how you worked years ago

Services you no longer offer are front and centre, while the work you want more of is buried.

Those are the problems we build the site to solve.

A redesign that keeps what works and fixes what loses leads

Most redesigns go wrong in the same place: someone builds a nice new site, launches it over the old one, and the pages Google was ranking quietly disappear. Calls drop a month later and nobody connects the two. We start the other way around. Before any design work, we pull every URL on your current site and check which pages get traffic, rank or produce calls. Then we decide what stays, what gets merged and what gets retired. Nothing important is dropped by accident.

Then we fix what's costing you calls. On most older trade sites, it's the same handful of problems: slow loading on mobile, no clear phone button, one page trying to cover every service, vague service areas and contact forms that nobody checks. The redesign gives each money service its own page, puts click-to-call and booking on every screen and makes it obvious which parts of Toronto and the GTA you serve. Copy is rewritten for homeowners comparing three companies on their phones.

Launch is handled carefully. Every old URL is redirected to its closest new page, titles and content that rank are carried over or improved, and we submit the new sitemap and watch Google Search Console in the weeks after. If anything dips, we see it early and fix it. Your Google Business Profile is updated to point at the right pages so the map listing and the site point to the same services.

A careful redesign takes a bit longer than a quick reskin. We think it's worth it, because the cheapest redesign is the one that doesn't cost you rankings you spent years building. It also needs some of your time: a review of the page plan, feedback on drafts, and photos of recent jobs if you have them. In return, you get a fixed price up front, a site that keeps its search history, and a clear before and after on calls and form fills so you can see whether the new site is doing better than the old one.

Website Redesign questions

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

It can if it's done carelessly. We protect rankings by mapping every old URL to a new page, keeping or improving the content that ranks, setting up redirects before launch and monitoring Search Console afterward. Short wobbles can happen as Google recrawls, but a well-run redesign should hold or improve your position.

Can you keep my domain and some of my content?

Yes. You keep your domain, and we keep any content that's working, usually rewritten and expanded rather than thrown away. Photos of real jobs are especially valuable, so we reuse them wherever we can. We'll go through what stays and what goes with you during planning.

How much does a website redesign cost?

Your current site is the starting point. How many pages it has, how many you need after planning, how much we rewrite and how messy the old URLs are all feed into the number, and you see it in writing before work starts.

Do I need a redesign or just better SEO?

If your site is fast, you own it and it has a page for each main service, SEO on the existing site may be enough. If it's slow, hard to update or built around services you no longer focus on, a redesign usually pays off faster. We'll look at it with you on the call and say which.

Let’s talk about your numbers.
