Local SEO in Toronto That Gets You Into the Maps Pack
Show up in the Google Maps pack across the Toronto neighbourhoods you serve, not just the block your office is on.
Projects from $1,500. Month-to-month. Toronto-based.

Sound familiar?
Invisible outside your own postal code
You rank near your address but disappear in the neighbourhoods across the city where you want work.
A profile that's half finished
Wrong categories, few photos, unanswered reviews and services that don't match what your website says.
Location pages that compete with each other
Copy-paste area pages confuse Google, so none of them rank and they drag the rest of the site down.
Every one of those is fixable, and none of them needs a bigger ad budget.
How the Maps pack works in Toronto, and how we get you into it
When a homeowner in Leaside or the Junction searches "furnace repair near me", Google shows three businesses on a map before anything else. Most calls go to those three. Which three depends on distance, relevance and prominence: how close you are to the searcher, how clearly your profile and website match the search and how strong your reviews and local reputation are. You can't move your shop, but you can work hard on the other two, and that's where local SEO lives.
We start with your Google Business Profile: the right primary and secondary categories, services that match your website, real photos of real jobs, a clear service area and a steady habit of getting and answering reviews. Then we make sure your name, address details and phone line up across directories like HomeStars, Yelp and the major data aggregators. Inconsistent listings make Google less sure you're who you say you are.
Your website does the rest. We build service area pages that are genuinely different, each written about that part of the city, the housing there and the jobs you do in it, so Google can tell them apart. We link them to your service pages and back to your profile so your services, areas and hours match everywhere. That's how you start appearing in the map for areas several kilometres from your address.
We track map rankings on a grid that covers your whole service area, so you see where you're strong and where you're not. A business near Yonge and Eglinton might rank first at its door and nowhere in Scarborough, and the grid shows that plainly. Each month we focus on the weak spots that matter most to you, whether that's a neighbourhood you want more work in or a service that's slipping. Plans are month-to-month, and the report starts with calls before it gets to map positions.

Local SEO questions
What's the difference between local SEO and regular SEO?
Regular SEO focuses on the organic blue links. Local SEO focuses on the Google Maps pack and location-based searches, using your Google Business Profile, reviews, citations and service area pages. For most Toronto trades, the Maps pack brings in more calls, so that's usually where we start.
Can I rank in areas where I don't have an office?
Often, yes, though distance still matters and it's harder the farther out you go. A well-optimized profile, strong reviews and distinct service area pages on your site can get you into the map in neighbourhoods across the city. We track it on a grid so you can see exactly how far your reach extends.
Do I need a physical address for Google Maps?
You need a real address to verify a Google Business Profile, but service businesses can hide it and show a service area instead. Many Toronto trades work from home or a shared yard, and that's fine. Never use a virtual office or fake address, since Google suspends those profiles.
How much does local SEO cost?
Local SEO is part of our month-to-month plans, and the price depends on how many areas you serve and how much cleanup your profile and listings need. You get a fixed monthly price after the strategy call. There's no long-term contract.
