Sound familiar?
Agencies built for bigger companies
Long proposals, account managers and big retainers that don't fit an owner-run business.
Cheap sites that do nothing
A template site went up quickly, but it never brought in a single call you can point to.
No time to manage it
You run the business, do the work and answer the phone. The website can't be another job.
Every one of those is fixable, and none of them needs a bigger ad budget.
A website for a business where the owner does everything
Small businesses don't need a big agency process. You need someone to understand what you sell, who buys it and where they are, then build something that works without eating your week. Our clients are usually owner-run trades and local service businesses, from a two-truck plumbing outfit in Etobicoke to a cleaning company covering the downtown condos. You work directly with the person building your site, not an account manager passing notes along, and decisions get made on a short call instead of a chain of emails.
What a small business site needs is pretty consistent. A clear homepage that says what you do and where. A page for each service that matters, so you can rank for them separately. Your reviews, your licensing and insurance, photos of real work and an obvious way to call or book on every page. A Google Business Profile that matches the site. That's it. Fancy animations and twelve-page About sections rarely help a homeowner decide who to call.
Budget matters. If you're shopping for the cheapest template site you can find, we're not the right fit, and that's fine. What you get for your money is a site built to bring in work, with SEO in the foundation and everything in your name. We'll also tell you where not to spend. If a three-page site will do the job for now, we'll say so and plan it so you can add more pages later. Overspending is just another way to get no ROI.
Small businesses also need to be able to grow the site. As you add services, hire crews or expand into new areas, new pages slot right in without a rebuild. That might be a new location page when you start taking jobs in Mississauga, or a page for a new service like heat pumps or eavestroughs. The structure is planned for that from the start. You can add simple pages yourself, or have us do it as part of a month-to-month plan, so the site keeps up with the business instead of falling behind it again.

Small Business Web Design questions
Is $1,500 really the starting price?
Yes, for a focused site with a handful of pages. Most businesses that want a page for each service and area spend more, because there's more to plan, write and build. You'll know the exact number before anything starts.
How much of my time will the project take?
Not much. A strategy call, a review of the plan and feedback on draft pages, usually a few short sessions in total. We write the copy, so you don't need to. The most useful thing you can send us is photos of real jobs and a list of the work you want more of.
I already have a Google Business Profile. Do I still need a website?
Your profile helps you show up on Maps, but a website gives Google and AI tools more to work with, lets you rank for each service, and gives customers a place to check you out. The two work best together, which is why we connect them.
Who holds the logins once the site is live?
You do. The domain, hosting and admin accounts are set up under your name, so you're never waiting on us to make a change or switch providers. If we keep working together after launch, it's on a month-to-month plan you can stop whenever you like.
